**George was enrolled in the Paws in Prison Program for 8 weeks of obedience training. He will be at the North Central Unit in Calico Rock. He will be crate trained, house trained, learn more commands and he will learn lots of tricks as well! George is such a handsome and gentle dog. He’s very good with other dogs and kids. He does chase cats but has not hurt them. He is very smart, playful and already knows simple commands. He has been both inside and outside but prefers to be where the people are. He came to us as an owner surrender because he kept going to the neighbors house and they were threatening to shoot him. They could not afford to build a bigger fence and did not want to keep him inside…George did climb their fence when he was left alone. He needs a home that will provide lots of attention and take him along for the ride. He would do just fine staying home as well, as long as he is inside lol. George is 5 years old and weighs 75lbs.
